Who is she?
It’s been a tussle I have been wrestling with for a while. My sleep schedule isn’t where it needs to be. My house isn’t finished, my cleaning schedule isn’t there yet. (But it’s significantly better) and so there is a lot that “she” the 60kg protein eating, study loving girl wouldn’t do. But she would ask for her favourite candle in the biggest size in the store… she would dance until past midnight because she’s “making room for joy” she would sleep in good sheets and make herself whole meals… she is currently shocked at the price of nourishing herself properly. Enough salmon and chicken to last a week? Yeah, £40 with veg and a couple of cleaning supplies. Buying dried fruit for snacks and breakfast? £20 and I haven’t bought a single fresh fruit yet. I want to give the low inflammation foods a try because this is driving me nuts. But healthy eating is a luxury. My entire financial plan is based on me having a frugal lifestyle day to day. Spending £100 on groceries+ candles is not it. What about when you really need to buy cleaning supplies? Or when you start your Freddie’s flower’s subscription again? It means you have a £46 per week including hair, body, and food allowance. Tight. Considering we need to hit protein goals this year. There’s no candle money in that. That’s buy everything in Sainsburys. No little trips to the Coop, no chocolate during your period or fresh fruit??? Just apples is ¼ of your food budget. Considering you have hit 0 nutritional goals in 2025… planning on hitting some basics this year like 5 fruit and veggies and protein is going to be tough. That’s saying you can have a bag of grapes once a week, 2 apples, dried or canned pineapple, canned pears, and one portion of green veg (broccoli or beans) and one of orange veg ( carrots or peppers) which actually when I put it like that is a lot of food. Bearing in mind I get a porridge breakfast with either cinnamon or dried cranberries and blueberries, I actually eat a lot. I didn’t want to eat dinner, but protein goals need to be hit because then I can maintain muscle. Muscle is denser than fat, but I will lose fat because I have more muscle to power. So when I exercise it means more. Plus the benefits of lower anxiety of “is my current substance meal killing me slowly or quickly?
All will be revealed when I actually put this in my mouth.
